I have an orange £15 contract and it won't work when I go away. I'd quite like a phone that works in the main bits of Europe and my phone is unlocked. Any of these O2 free sims etc work on the continent?

My old O2 one does. Had it for years now. I found this out, when I visited Barçelona a couple of years ago; it switched to the Spainish network Telefonica, who own O2.

I'd imagine most networks do this these days.

Check out sims4abroad.com, looks like a really good deal especially for business travellers and holidays abroad.

Sounds like a goer rob, how much your pikeys worth?

I'll get an O2 one then- I know where I stand with them I think. It's for emergencies really.
