me the mrs her sister and our two primary school aged kids are going to town..
cant afford the earth, but dont want em sleeping in cardboard boxes, we re travelling by train..to come down from manchester and need to be based near the olympic stadium for 3 or 4 days any ideas? any avoid at all costs..?

Travelodge in Greenwich. I stayed there on me and Mrs Rossi's wedding night.
Its very reasonably priced and the rooms are pretty good.
The o2 is a 5 minute walk away and you can get to the Olympic Park quite easily....
