Picking the Singletrackworld brain here,
I'll be in London this Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening and fancy some live music.
Hopefully a smallish, friendly venue much like the Brudenell in Leeds
Anyone got any suggestions?
Central would be best but willing to use tube

Nambucca on Holloway Road is small, and has some decent 'small' bands on. No idea about those on this weekend:

CAFEOTO.CO.UK Search the web for live jazz, there's often bars than have bands on. There's one near St Pauls iirc

I was going to say Nambucca, never been, but I’ve heard about it, all good things, and it seems that if a band plays there regularly there’s a good chance they’re going to be something special.
