Mrs Pastyboy and I have a week off in 10 days (19th March). Can anyone recommend a good ski resort/ accommodation? We have been to all the big name resorts and are looking for somewhere a bit different, with better value.
I'd be heading to the western Italian resorts for the best chance of good snow coupled with decent value. Vialattea or Monterosa maybe. A bit different if you've done the usual french and Austrian resorts (in a good and bad way)
Austria, Obergurgl specifically. Beautiful place, high altitude, easy to get to and I'm a big fan of Austria in general.

Stevomcd says "best ever" conditions in Sainte Foy right now, I guess les arcs will come into your big name resorts but there's more to the valley
