Hi,
I'm taking my son to Harry Potter World on Saturday and would like to know where to eat afterwards. I'm a miserable bastard and really don't like chain restaurants. Do you have any recommendations for restaurants that serve good quality food. He'll eat anything. Watford looks like the nearest place but have heard its a dive. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
Cheers,
PCB
Nice places in Bushey south east of Watford, St James opposite the church is posh, Zazas up the road a bit is lovely Italian. Free parking is signed.
Don't use the nearby Chiquitos. Truly dire.
When my sister and family visited HPW, we met them in Kings Langley and had a pizza at Oscars Pizza. Nice place, iirc. There are other places to eat in Kings Langley and it's a much nicer place than Watford, which I detest (the other half comes from Watford!).
I'm local . What would your son prefer to eat and happy to recommend . Oscars is a good shout for pasta/pizza
If you fancy somewhere nice, The Stables Bar at The Grove does posh pizzas and kids burgers etc.

Hi All,
Thanks for the ideas. Think we'll be going to Oscars Pizza.

We stayed near Clapham Junction for a few days to visit Potter world and then do a day out in London earlier this year, found these two on trip advisor - both very good IMHO.
