Because, like this little chap was (until comparatively recently), the sole survivor of the complete sunk-to-the-bottom-of-the-lake catastrophe that was my dysfunctional family upbringing...

I am a Viz comic character.
All sensible ideas relating to my actual name were taken.
I'd rather have chosen something else now 🙄

The bike I had when I registered, when I really 'got into' mountain biking - Genesis Core 30.

I thought that bike was immense, but was a bit on the small side in reality, my mate still has the frame so I might have it back to hang on the wall one day.

I like rubbish italian cars. There's a song by the New Fast Automatic Daffodils which Lister convinced himself during a car journey 25 years ago has the words "HOT FIIAAAAT" in it. It stuck.

I've been Hodgy on other forums ( now defunct )..and was on this forum a few light years back ..but forgot / misplaced my password and couldn't retrieve it ..after being inactive for years.
Because of this my first choice user name can't be used and the nd refers to my two forenames..( wild eh?)..crazy really as my surname is Smith ..

When I was going out on the bike, when we moved to a new area, the kids would ask where I was going. I would reply I was going exploring in the woods for trail. Hence no.1 son telling his mates, 'My daddy go 'sploring, he a 'splorer.'

My name is Joey, and back in the day when I raced I managed to somehow take wrong turns on clearly marked XC courses.

I had a chrome TSG skate style helmet, one of my mates at uni said it made me look like a momo gearknob, looking back I think he was being kind adding the gear, and the name stuck once I started using it as an online gaming tag.

Admittedly, 20 years on those same friends occasionally forget and call me Matt by accident

I signed up for another forum where people had cool nicknames, I've never had a nickname, so I chose something that sort of rhymed with my name so I was one of the cool kids too.

No one in the real world knows me as prawny, which is useful I spose if any of my managers ever frequent the same forums as me.
