Where do you buy your bedding from these days?

[#12579181]

Were expecting a nice new mattress to turn up next week to replace the rather sad specimen that is currently on the bed and this has got me thinking that it might also be time to splash out on some new bedding to go with it.

Ordinarily we would probably just by some Egyptian cotton bits from John Lewis but the last time we did this they didn't feel quite as nice as I remember them being years ago. So, where do people like to buy their bedding from now? Anywhere anyone could recommend us trying out for some decent quality bedding?

Germany. No contest.
Single duvets that are sized for adults rather than kids. 220cm long iirc (200 iidrc)
Absolutely brilliant.
My missus got me a 900g one about 25 years ago reduced from 1200DM. It is a thing of wonder.
Also got a 700g one a 300g and a 230g.

The duvet covers and sheets are also infinitely better.

The pillowcases not so much... as German pillows are square

Got my last from Matalan, they're surprisingly lovely. Do like a Dunelm rummage though.
