Yep, sled-heads are an odd bunch. Bit like MX'ers but with more "gnar"
He totally surprised himself about how far he got up that mountain and then sh@t himself, realised there was no room to turn and lost it. Not much fresh snow, loads of grip for the sled and none for him as soon as he started tumbling.
The ones I've seen / met are a bit proud of their sleds, it's more about how much it cost than it is about how cheap you got it for.
The ski guide I skied with in Nelson did a great impression of a Sled-head, had us in stitches.

"Sled head" that's a new one on me. Always fancied a go on one. They look incredibly powerful these days. He certainly picked some speed up just sliding on his arse!
Just watched again, his mate was on the back of the sled, he slides down on the left as he looks up after his first stop. I didn't se him first time.
Those skiers must have been surprised to see that sled pop up out of nowhere..
