Looks like mine is down too as its continually saying "connecting".

Mine is on Android and was freshly installed y'day due to my notifications not flashing up properly. So i removed and re-installed.
Lots of happy New Year messages hugging it to death? It will have kicked of round the other side of the world won’t it?
Zuck went for a cuppa and couldn't read all your messages so he disabled it for a couple of mins.
Yeah, it has been down for hours for me, I keep getting intermittent messages through, and if I queue a message it will send eventually. But everytime I look it isn't connected.
Working fine right now on Android.
