Little widget thing on the BBC site that tells you what you should be doing... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-28062001

Apparently I should be playing squash or maybe boxing. Advises against long distance athletics. Guess what my main sport is these days?

1, Throwing, 2, Rugby sevens*, 3, Wrestling, spose it's right in a way but maybe i underestimated my stamina.

*I'm more of a prop than a winger so maybe 15's would be a better option!

Squash for me.

You may be less suited to:

1. Athletics (long-distance) 2. Weightlifting 3. Shooting

1, 2 and 3 I'd say I'm pretty damn unsuited to!

1) Triathlon

Bastards!!!
I'm assuming the git who wrote the algorithm went -
Are you over 40? No Spatial awareness?

Other suggested options were
2) Long distance athletics.
3) Shooting [s]people[/s] things

For me...

1) Wrestling
2) Judo
3) Middle distance swimming

Say's I'd be no good at shooting though, which I did for 15 years and won a few medals!

1.Middle distance cycling
2.Triathlon
3.Swimming

Pretty good really as a now cycling lapsed triathlete.

Not so good at Shooting, Gymnastics or Lawn Bowls(my mum won't be happy)

Hockey, Netball, Rugby Sevens.

Less apt for Athletics (long-distance), Shooting, Triathlon

Can't say I'm shocked by that ๐Ÿ˜€

Bear in mind it's only picked from the list osports at the Commoncwealth Games though - I prefer Volleyball though I did try to find a mixed netball club when I lived in That London, struggled to find one so ended up training with a Korfball club for a season.

Funnily enough, I've been considering going down to the Rugby Club with one of my mates to have a go at their Saturday afternoon touch rugby session. I've not played rugby since I was about 13 and then it was proper rugby, not sure what the Union rules are for Touch Rugby?

Apparently being short, slow and weak makes you suited to triathlon ๐Ÿ˜†

Hockey, apparently. Rugby 7s (I do play touch rugby) and er... netball.

I quite enjoyed, and was ok at, hockey at school. Haven't played since though.

Funny thing about that Triathlon option.

Nowhere in that quiz does it ask if you can swim...

Table tennis, netball and badminton. Think I'd prefer volleyball

Ruby sevens, throwing, hockey

The first two I did at school and rugby at Uni and for club - although 7s was only a side attraction to proper union and league. I am however 48, so sevens would kill me.

Unsuited to long distance athletics, shooting and triathlon. Probably fair assessment tbh - or at least of me 25/30 years ago

Hockey...........or shooting, long distance running or bowls FFS! But then I am old!

No mention of cycling interestingly....thought it would be an ideal sport for me.

Apparently I should be a cyclist, specialising as a sprinter. I'll take that...

It suggested I'm suited for netball and lawn bowls!

And apparently I'm not suited for long-distance athletics. Funny that, I was 5th Vet in my running club 5k championship last month ๐Ÿ™‚

Ah bollocks! Well suited to boxing, not suited to long distance athletics.

Pitty I'm doing an iron distance triathlon on Sunday.

Wrestling, netball! and badminton.

Not suited to long distance athletics, weightlifting or shooting.

So I really shouldn't be doing long distance triathlons then?!

@ Onnzadog - Outlaw? Me too ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine said:
- Athletics (throwing)
- Rugby 7's
- Middle distance cycling.

Which is quite apt for someone who played rugby front row for 20 years including a lot of 7's, used to do discuss and shot at county level as a lad and now prefers cycling!

Darts.
Beach Volley Ball.
Feng Shui.

Thanks Beeb, but I think I'll stick to riding a bike when there's nothing on the telly. Which is most of the time.

I should be doing boxing, wrestling or judo. Those that know me would probably say that would be somewhat short-lived as a sporting endeavour ๐Ÿ˜€

Apparently I'm not suited to lawn bowls, which is disappointing.

It's not trying to guess sports you do, it's suggesting sports that might suit you.

The thing is clearly rubbish - it suggested Netball ๐Ÿ˜ณ

In fairness Hockey was second choice and that was the game I played longest/at the highest level in my (cough) sporting career
