Beer,
I'm going sober for the month as i worked out that what I was spending on Beer was probably more than enough to pay for my Reading ticket. Then again I'm sure that I'll drink enough to compensate over the weeend 🙂
beer/wine dont count as vices.
They come under "living expenses"
Every spare penny goes on good old-fashioned compact discs. 🙂
nail varnish!
Keeping my car on the road.
No wait, that's not a vice...
I'm not sure I have one, although I did buy a titanium spork on Saturday for 3 quid. It is quite possibly the coolest thing I have ever bought.
Me? Tools. I do love a nice toolkit, and it just keeps expanding. I'd rather buy the tool than pay someone else to do the job, mostly.
And chocolate raisins. I've been addicted to them since I was about 3
And chocolate raisins.

Krispy Kreme,
For the last few months each week I have been buying Heat Magazine and Hello. Been missing Blighty a bit and I've been really getting into the stories and gossip. They are actually a really good read before anyone gets on my case. A really nice way to unwind.
Magazines - bike mags, fashion mags and the occasional gossip mag. I must cut back but each bike mag gets read by two people and I often pass on fashion mags to the girls at work.
Coffee - cappucinos made with 'real' milk not this la di da soya SFB 🙂 Justifying it with a tenth coffee free but I shudder when I think back to how much I spent buying a daily one, have cut back to weekly treats.
maps - i have memory map, but just HAVE TO HAVE the paper ones - OS, but I like harveys
books - if i even think about something, i'm off to Borders to get a book and read about it. and no, the internet, not even stw can relace a book
coffee - "of the month" from the coffe roasting place in town
cheese - from the specialist cheese place in town
magazines - like books, be it cycling, motorcycling, sailing, fishing, or whatever else I'm up to this month.
beer - proper real ale mind, none of this lager p1sh
whiskey - decent single malts (4 bottles just now in various staes of fullness)
They are actually a really good read
As a change from Forbidden Secrets of the Lizards Who Control Destiny, or generally?
😉
dont tease, BD 🙂
Trashy celeb magazines. I love a bit of "celebrity tit tape disaster" action, I do.
Bike magazines.
Proper books. I'm running out of room for them at home because I don't like to get rid of them once I've read them.

No,hang on - that's an essential!
Does if you are in a different time zone/ on a different planet.

if your brain has been hollowed out by killer hamsters
Mr Barnes
But if you were to read one over a cappucino in a cafe, maybe like me you would realise what a hit with the ladies it was, and it's a great way of opening a conversation and meeting new people.
Honestly, you should give it a go. I was feeling quite ill a few months back and just bought one copy. Well one thing and another here I am now avidly reading them each week and meeting new people down the cafes here on Saturdays.
I dont currently have any vices I dont think. Living alone means I rarely get take-outs, rarely randomly drive to the shops to buy stuff as I cant be bothered. I suppose bike bits maybe, but they're all justifiable. Dont really buy anything else. I used to drop 4-5K a year on my other car but it's currently off road awaiting repair.
maybe like me you would realise what a hit with the ladies it was
far too manipulative for my taste, I have enough topics of conversation (just) without resorting to such measures of desperation
and it's a great way of opening a conversation and meeting new people.
Only if you want to start a conversation with other people who like celebrity trash 😀 Personally I hate all that stuff so I'd rather not spark a conversation based on that! 🙂
I'm running out of room for them at home because I don't like to get rid of them once I've read them.
whisper 'libraries' 😉
Hang on a second isn't pocket money the money relatives gave you or are we talking about actual wedge?
Ah but you guys are so fast to judge.
It's like ages ago I went over the boarder and had an esspresso in San Roque. I had no mates at this time. Roper comes along and sees me and he says "What are you reading that rubbish for?" much like you lot.
I say to him well I'd normally buy Singletrack but you can't get it in Gib, and he's like "I'm into mountain biking" and we then realise how much have in common and the rest is history.
So it only goes to show you know.
I hate celebrity culture too, I just like to spend some time reading about their sad lives and feeling superior. 🙂 I like to look at their frocks and shoes too.
And no, my proper books are not Jackie Collins and Danielle Steele!!!
Ah but you guys are so fast to judge
I'm not judging you, just saying I'd rather not have friends than read it myself
Well i am out tonight so I will have to take a pic of my current special friend for you Simon 🙂
She's quite alternative actually - pretty crazy hair!
