Gregg's cheese and onion pastiesTHREAD CLOSED
I got one this morning on the way to work - £1.15 not so cheap anymore!
Haslet on toast
or
Poached egg on toast
Home made bread for me as well, although I will admit to being partial to tinned macaroni cheese!
You know you want too really……
and every time I find them disappointing even though I really wanted to enjoy it.....
Pork scratchings.
Anything i find in the skip out back of iceland.

It's those injected pheromones I tell yea ,few can resist. 🙂
Smell like heaven taste like ..
Tin of tuna, tin of sweetcorn, both drained and mixed together, then add mayo and seasoning to taste.
Haslet on toast
mmmm... with branston pickle (or cheaper own-label alternative)
Always provokes a debate on the correct pronunciation though. Is it hass-let or hay-slet?

Even better if you chop up an onion and add that.
Sausage rolls and beans..yum yum!
A tin of rice pudding!
Only ever heard it said hass-let. What part of the world says it the other way?Always provokes a debate on the correct pronunciation though. Is it hass-let or hay-slet?
Porridge
Ambrosia rice pud - found a tin this lunchtime. mmmmmm.....
Water
Any fruit even durian!

Haz-let.
Chickpeas are the devils chug-nuts 😛
Boiled eggs with white pepper and salt condiments and a sliced of buttered toast.

Now I like that choice. Not too pretentious however sophisticated enough to distance itself from scrambled egg.
Cheap fish fingers in cheap white bread, plenty of ketchup.
A massive pot of chicken broth made from the carcass of the weekend roast and lots of veg. That has to be cheap.
10 years ago I would have said pot noodle. Then after eating 1 a day for a month (and next to nothing else, bar beer and pub snacks) it put me in an icu. For malnutrition of all things! Who'da thunk it!
Still love chicken supernoodles though. With cheese melted into them. And a bit of chopped ham or hotdog if I want to make it special!
The ingredients list on the spam with bacon make for [s]Terrifying[/s] interesting reading!
Bacon cured with water?!
Sugar, salt and water mentioned twice!
some stuff I can't pronounce!
They certainly pack the goodness in...
