Mine has to be Tom and Jerry but only when Fred Quimby was involved, it would probably all be banned now covering love, heartbreaking, suicidal thoughts, maybe a wee bit of cat and mouse fun but it never made me want to be violent
Pc brigade will find so much wrong in their eyes
Has the potential to be a great light hearted thread, without this culture war bollox imo

Wile E Coyote for the win. Though I knew in my heart he'd never catch that irritating bird, I desperately wanted to see him tucking into roast roadrunner whilst saying "meep meep that you f****r"!!
Battle of the Planets - awesome
Tom and Jerry was class. Not sure how the racial stereotypes would go down now.
Loved Road Runner too.
Danger Mouse is still funny.
Daffy Duck & Bugs Bunny
Arabian Knights from the Banana Splits.
Scooby Doo
I introduced my daughter to Scooby Doo when she was about 10. It took her about three episodes to spot that the ghost was never real and she went back to whatever it was she actually liked watching.
I don't remember very well what I liked as a kid, but Roadrunner was definitely up there, always praying that he would escape the coyote, some of those escapes were pretty nail biting.
A bit obscure but I loved this as a child.
Great themetune but I could never make head or tail of what was actually going on in any given episode.
Flintstones, meet the Flintstones, they're the modern stone aged family !!!
The Real Ghostbusters
I forgot about Top Cat based on Sergeant Bilko so good , does anyone remember Calamero it's an injustice it is ? Can't remember liking it

Came here to say Cities of Gold - it was proper complicated...
but also,

Dogtanyan
Classic. I'm a long-form cartoon fan clearly...
Tin tin during the summer holidays
Ulysses
honestly sometimes think I must have imagined that as a kid as I'm the only person I know who remembers it. Bet it was rubbish so won't go and find it on YT but remember it being brilliant. Even remember the theme tune 😀
Otherwise, Thundercats.
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
+1!
And Thundercats of course.
Fred Quimby's Tom & Jerry. Particularly Cant Stop Conducting.
Bugs Bunny - What's Opera Doc
Roadrunner.
Tom and Jerry and Battle of the Planets.
Although it was only a few years ago that I found out that Battle of the Planets was actually hyperviolent Japanese Manga, and they just cut all the violence out which is why the plotlines never made much sense.
Ulysses 31 and The Mysterious Cities of Gold.
We had joy, we had fun...
Ulysses
I remember that there was a cartoon series called Ulysses but not what it was about. I suspect it was as long-running and wildly over complicated as that Eldorado - City of Gold thing that seemed to go on forever.
Tom & Jerry and also Wile E Coyote were always great.
And does anyone remember a plasticine / claymation thing called The Trapdoor? I suspect it's not strictly a "cartoon" but that was brilliant.

I've got that on DVD.
BERK!!!!!
Superted
Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles
The Simpsons
I desperately wanted to see him tucking into roast roadrunner whilst saying “meep meep that you f****r”!!
Scooby Doo
Ralph Bakshi Spiderman
Some I don't think mentioned yet...
Jason and the wheeled warriors
MASK
HE-MAN and SHE-RA
Hong Kong Phuey.
Roger Ramjet.
Anyone remember Smhoo a white bowling pin looking creature, iirc it could shape shift?
Also liked Woody Woodpecker. Couldn't stand Batfink or Mr Magoo
Tom and Jerry definitely.
Would have said Danger Mouse, but not sure it's aged as well when showing the kids when they were younger.
Im sure there was a cartoon like Lost Cities of Gold that had a line in the opening credits that said
"...and we search for our destiny..." something something something
Can't for the life of me remember
