I've been masquerading as a policeman since I joined the forum 12 years ago, and nobody's rumbled me yet. So I guess I'm an expert at reading Wikipedia then winging it on the subject of the law

You're a Freeman on the Land aren't you? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Used to be very good at 1990s European Public Procurement directives. Could quote articles and paragraphs all day long.

These days my expert, but useless, insights seem to be limited to Star Wars episode 4.

For the last few years I've been using a bot that extracts every third word from a thread and generates coherent sentences. Think there are a few bugs though ๐Ÿ™

Oh, almost forgot:

Primary skill

Spending 85% of my time on the internet instead of working, then somehow

a) not getting caught
b) still getting my work done

So either I am much quicker than everyone else at working, or everyone else is also spending 85% of their time on the internet.

Molgrips - you forgot VW Passat diagnostics! We will certainly never forget.

My job is kind of being a jack of all trades and master of none, but I suppose I have a pretty good knowledge of journalism, digital media & current mid-travel 29in MTB geometries.

My expertise as far as this forum goes is to be able to add nothing of any help, value or insight to anyone.

My "real world" expertise is to be able to work my nuts off at the expense of any (quality) time to myself. Which reminds me, must get off here as I've got stuff to do... ๐Ÿ˜•

I didn't think i have any expertise - that would indicate that I thought I was an expert at something, and I'm not.

I'm reasonably good at and reasonably knowledgeable about a fair amount of different stuff, but I'd never call myself an expert, because Sods Law says that the moment I did, someone would come along who knew more.

Primarily, I'm pretty weak, I know a bit about customer service, clinical systems in Primary Care and, more recently, information government.

Secondarily, I've dabbled in a lot of bits and bobs so can speak with less authority about old F1, motocross, acting, boxing, and being athletically crap. I've done a bit of writing, had the odd picture published, failed to join the Royal Marines (twice) and done a parachute jump, so can sound knowledgable compared to someone who knows rock-all about them.

Tertiarily, I like to read a lot so can talk balls about loads of stuff.
