So I should be happy someone is intentionally shining a laser in my eyes

Eerrr you can be happy if you like, or like normal humans you can ignore it and move on as it has absolutely no effect on normal humans whatsoever. Unless you're not normal?

I love this concept: I think my eyes are damaged.

But you are using a computer and screen.

Yeah, but my eyes might be damaged.

But you are using a computer screen and typing.

But ... ah **** it.

Don't think too logically about it Toby

The OP certainly didn't. Why should you bother.

If its a Troll, it's a strange one.

Because the only "bite" is a couple of pages in, and it's from the OP

My dog used to inject his own special recipe grease into bearings. The last time some of the ingredients were delivered by parcelforce though, this happened to him!!!

But you are using a computer and screen.

In all fairness there could be more subtle damage than that, or that takes a while to appear or something. Not THAT unreasonable of a question really, like I say. Just poorly put.

I think it wasn't an unreasonable question but the outcome was fairly foreseeable. Having a flounce mid-thread just added to the general mickey taking as well.

Sometimes you just have to live with unintended consequences.

Where I work we have barcode scanners all over the place, I have two on my desk and I look at them all the time. Kaesae, MTFU!
Or I'll come round and shine my laser pointer in your eyes. It's only a 200Mw green one, won't hurt at all... ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Maybe you should of had a mini gun with your oh so famous bearings on standby when parcelfarce arrived.

On another note if you can see this image,

your eyes are clearly fine and you have no case whatsoever.

Google shows a 200mw laser lighting a cigaret, who the flip would want to light a billion cigarets at once?

I posted that in a hurry, I've just checked the spec on the laser, and it's <100mW, 532nm wavelength. Quite bright enough to see the beam in the dark when pointing out stars and constellations.

I think the aliens have finally got him. Either that, or agents from covert organisations have figured that maybe he was getting to close to the truth, and he's been subject to a rendition. Currently wearing a fetching orange onesie in Gitmo...

Here's the post laSer brain test:

Draw two fat dots about an inch apart on a piece of paper.
Close left eye.
Look steadily at LEFT dot with RIGHT eye.
Slowly move paper towards face.
If at any point either dot disappears you have irreparable brain damage.
(Repeat for the other eye, reversing left and right)
