Oakley Jawbones
Probably will be able to afford list:
Muck-off refill
New shorts - thinking of Oakley something or other bt will probably go for safe bet of Endura Singletrack
Chain cleaner device
Cheap torque wrench - any recommendations?
Clear glasses
661 gloves
Camelbak
Socks
A boiler suit and a bottle of port.
How about this

about £15. Might get one myself actually.
EDIT : oops, double post.
The latest Rouleur Annual.
But, Mrs North gave me a daughter earlier this year. There's no need for stuff when you've got one of those...
joint presents dont count OMITN.
Nothing this year, just token presents between me and the other half, main reason is we are off on holiday end of feb so everything is going towards that, hoping for sun, sea, sand and mtb'ing!! on dry dusty trails, well thats the plan. 🙂
Was a guitar. But I've been daydreaming about going somewhere hot since I saw those picture on the Greece post.
Giant do a cheap torque wrench that we use in the shop, pretty decent.

Misus has categorically told me that Santa can't afford anything from Howies, Rapha or Gore...
Socks and hopefully some more socks maybe some pants too.
A down jacket! Brrrr!
LOL @ Scenetoomuch!
Wow, some list, I'm looking forward to socks.
Cheap torque wrench - any recommendations?
My only recommendation is not to buy a cheap torque wrench at all.
Edit - link above is as low as I'd go.
not really fussed.
getting Mrs T-R a down vest - stop her nicking mine at events !
and a thorn raven singlespeed after singlespeedstu , the tollah and their respective partners convinced her it was the right thing to do ..... (singlespeeding that is)
as usual I've presented a list with such things as a Surly MyWhirly, Tool bag and Gore Phantom jacket.
as usual I suspect she'll try and surprise me with something original and I shall have to prove my inability to lie to her by saying
"Ohhh that's wonderful just I what I wanted"
We don't really do lists - so I've no idea what I'm getting
6 of us here so we all get the other 5 something costing around £20
Lots of photography stuff that's too expensive. Macro lens, pancake lens, flash etc.
Just added that torque wrench to it tho, been looking for one of those for years.
Ortlieb saddlebag to keep the essentials dry.
Justinguitar.com intermediate guitar coursse.
Oh yeah, and a baby, due next week 🙂
TS
will you be allowed to unwrap the baby before christmas 🙂
Commencal Super 4 Carbon.
Genesis Steel road bike.
An encounter with BarnsleyMitch or Tazzy under the mistletoe.
Anyone fancy dating a Yeti for the next three weeks?
I blooming well hope so DaRC L! It'd make too much noise wrapped up under the Christmas tree.
I am actually struggling to think of anything bike related that I actually "need". There is lots I want though!
Tartanscarf: I'd be interested in hearing how you get on with that. I am doing the beginners course ATM.
Mrs OJ has already got a surprise for me. If it's another bloomin' baby then there'll be trouble 😈
Far too early
bottle of edradour
cashmere sweater
book vouchers
my health back......... 8)
I haven't written a christmas present list since I was about 15
Lots of possibilities.
But hopefully some nice new Gaerne shoes and a Shutt VR jersey...
and whiskey.
Nothing bike related, as I never get the chance to ride any more.
Spending a load on the nipper/mrs/house, so I'm not too fussed about anything, although I might buy the 'family/me' an X-Box 360 250GB with Kinect.
A solid gold toilet 🙂
Nearly was gonna be getting a Tag Monaco, but she thought i'd moan about spending too much money.
oddjob - I'll let you know. It's a great website, I've used it loads and given him some donations etc. I did have a teacher for a while but at £20 an hour it definitely wasn't worth it.
TS
I'm not doing a Christmas list this year as the whole thing seemed to have become an exercise in vicarious shopping. I'm hoping for some delightful, insightful gifts that show how well people really know me. However I'm anticipating socks and cash.
Anyone fancy dating a Yeti for the next three weeks?
Now that would be a Christmas present..!
All you need to do is buy me a bike Dez! 😉
Don't think I'm getting anything bike related. Need a new guitar tuner so a Korg Pitchblack is on the list. Few CDs and the usual socks etc I imagine.
You have a nice bike. Not as nice as a Yeti of course.
Don't even think you can charm me with words!
I need a bike to do the TransWales on next year, and a road bike to train on...
An iPad
Some Scarpa winter boots
Gore tex trainers
Multiple-fuel stove
That'll do!
Can you believe there isn't anything bike related I want at the moment?
My chrimbo list involves mrs flamejob in frilly knick knicks...
...and a colective pitch RC helicopter
... or a DSLR
I plan on purchasing myself a Seamaster tomorrow, then have about two weeks to decide what to get anyone else 🙄
my health back.........
Couldn't agree more ton and do hope next year is a healthier year for you. 🙂
All I want is a return to good health, having a shonky body is rubbish. 😥
Oakley Jawbones
Cheap torque wrench - any recommendations?
You've your priorities the wrong way around, are you sure you're not a woman/gay?
Hope X2 Brakes and a Bandsaw for me.
I need a bike to do the TransWales on next year
We were thinking of doing that (3 of us that did the Alps 2 years ago). I don't like camping though. Is there a B&B alternative?
b r I dont have any glasses or a torque wrench, thats why they are on my list. I already have a set of brakes and in any case wouldnt bother again with Hopes - they are hopeless. WTF would I want a bandsaw? WTF has if I am a 'woman/gay' got to do with it?
