Well, I say cabinet, but it is really just a drawer in my desk.
At least it's not the toilet cistern 😯 yet.
cellar with a healthy stock of mead
I've never tried mead, what's it taste like ?.
Probably one of our oldest alcoholic drinks, so im surprised you dont hear more about it.
And one for the brother in law. he's got one of the most extensive drinks cabinet collection i've ever seen. Must be about 50 bottles in it and each B/day and Xmas I look for something different to add to it. Now you've given me the idea of Mead 😀 so he'll be getting a bottle of that this coming march.
I got given a drinks globe by my SO. Always fancied one but resisted.
I like it. I keep a few malts, a couple of rums, a bourbon, and some liqueurs on the lower rack and gin, vermouth, Campari, and more gin inside. Plus some tiki glasses.

My cocktail ingredients, rums, liqueurs, syrups, etc I keep on shelves in the cellar. Means I have to think ‘what am I going to mix’ and then gather.
I can confirm that the Disaronno Sour recipe above is very nicesh. Mrs Sandwich and I have killed our bottle of Disaronno Amaretto this evening, ish a dirty job. . .
I’ve never tried mead, what’s it taste like ?.
Three parts cloudy cider to one part golden syrup. (-:
Don't forget a gobbet of distillers spit.
Bought my mate a bottle of Mead from the Lancashire Mead Company. He seemed to like it.
A little research and a place in Glasgow's west end called 'Valhalla's Goat' might stock mead. I'll give them a phone when they open at 12 today and get the lowdown.
As the brother in law has such an extensive alcohol collection, its the ideal birthday gift for him.
Mount Gay Black Barrel is on discount on Amazon currently, added a bottle to the “cabinet”.
Baruo De Vilar Porto Wine, Makers Mark, Singleton Malt, Ron Barcelo Rum, Bitters.
8 assorted Gin's & Aperol for the OH.
Most things don't last long enough to make it to the 'cabinet' 😆
I do have a good selection of Ardberg whiskeys though.... courtesy of a whiskey aficionado who went teetotal.
Slowly working my way through them.

Drinks cabinet i don't have. I have a wickedly carved wooden box which would make Hunter S Thompsen proud. Doesn't get opened often as I'd like these days, suppose that's life. Got a bottle of Hibiki; master select (Japanese whisky) sitting on top of it tho. Bottle is too nice for a decanter imo.
