I quite like the idea of having a couple of crystal decanters on the side for an enjoyable evening tipple, one with a fine rum and the other with an vintage port.

What’s in yours?

Kids' art stuff and other random stationary.

The last of the Christmas whisky is out on the kitchen worktop though. Handy.

I have a couple of decanters. One has Maker's Mark, the other currently empty. They're Nice Things.

Currently 16 single malts and a bourbon.

A Port Charlotte 10 and a Glenfarclas 15 were the latest arrivals this week.

Mrs B also has half a dozen gins on there.

Whiskey (a malt and a blend), Bailey's for the lady, fake Bailey's, cooking brandy, port (random), some disaronno (don't knock it), vermouth (what) and Pimm's.

A embarrassment of riches. Or maybe just an embarrassment.

My cousin and his wife had his and hers drinks cabinets by their bed. One day she complained to me that he was drinking vodka in bed out of a mug.
Nothing wrong with vodka in bed ,it was the fact that he was using a mug.
Insert cool starry bra picture here...

Good grief, where shall I start? There are about six bottles of Malt, a full bottle of Baileys and one with a crusty cap, from memory there's a nearly full bottle of Harveys Bristol cream, a couple of LBV ports and a vintage port still in its coffin from 25 years ago (keep hoping the value will plummet so I can drink it...) Several gins, including one of those ridiculous tangerine flavoured ones with gold flakes in it, a half bottle of Ouzo, various vermouths of questionable quality, a bottle of Drambuie which may be as old as I am, and a vast selection of hedge brews- sloe gin, damson gin, damson vodka, bramble whisky even a sloe whisky (not a fan) and some garish yellow banana flavoured liqueur brought back from a holiday in the Canaries by a well-meaning relative which I haven't got the heart to throw away.

I no longer have any concerns about how much I drink

some disaronno (don’t knock it),

I won't, you can make a delicious whiskey sour with that!

If you like amaretto, ditch disaronno and drink Saliza!

About 40 bottles of gin and 20 of other various spirits/mixers, no fancy decanters. I've not had a drink in about 18 months.

The most important bottle in my cabinet is Kahlúa.

Because it's so bloody nice 🙂

Other than that, I have port, whisky, gin & vodka. And maybe some others lurking at the back...

Nothing because if it in the house I drink it so i don't keep anything.  anyone who keeps booze is automatically suspect and will be referred to the authorities

I have such poor self control with alcohol I could never have one.
If it's in the house i drink every night. If there's no alcohol that's fine and can happily go weeks without a drink.

Yeah, you don't want to go stumbling about the garden 😉 End up falling over a poorly placed plant pot and injuring yourself.

@dyna-ti To be fair, if WCA had been drinking it might have been far, far worse.

I currently have two bottles of good whisky (one given to me about four years ago) and a bottle of gin from about 2015 in the drinks cabinet. Well, I say cabinet, but it is really just a drawer in my desk.

Mind you, I do also have a cellar with a healthy stock of mead and beer.

I don’t have a drinks cabinet, I have a Beer cupboard which also contains some Whiskey, Sherry And Gin. I then have a emergency beer cupboard which contains spares of my favourite beers and a barbecue beer cupboard with a selection of popular beers for guests.

Quality over quantity for stuff I actually drink... sort of.

Gran Orendain Añejo Tequila - a while back I thought I'd try a "sipping" rather than a "gulpin'" tequilq. Don't know if I just got lucky first time but this is lovely. On my second bottle, was a Christmas present from my Mum.

Castarede XO 20 year old armagnac. Used to buy XO cognac in duty free, but this is much better value.

12* Metaxa. It was recommended on here. It's horrible! So I don't drink it much.

A half bottle of 1970 port, waiting for a special occasion.

Then the general stuff:

Southern Comfort
Disaronno
Bombay Star Gin
A Russian vodka a colleague brought back from a work trip there. UAPCKAR seems to be the name. But in Cyrillic letters.

Then the "cocktail night" leftovers:

Aperol
Archers
Cherry Brandy
Midori
Blue Bols
Grenadine
Smirnoff
etc...

I can do you a french, espresso or pornstar martini or a margarita at teh drop of a hat.

For the sipping or mixing, Bowmore, glenlivet another singlemalt in a box, brandy possibly its coursevoir and a nice bottle of pinapple rum (bottle and the rum are nice) OVD (for coke) Brewdog Rum (wouldn't buy that on priciple but it was a gift and actually tastes alright... better than the beer at any rate, Dark matter (always with ginger beer) and massive bottle of disarono

For a little refresher, Dr Squid gin( turns black to pink and has the most amazing bottle) some harris gin left i think, a generic "micro gin distillery- made by others flavoured by them"

There is also some damson gin and some sloe gine and a couple of bottles of plum wine, oh yeah a bottle of marsala for proper tirimasu.

We don't drink much at all but its nice to have a decent choice for when the mood takes you*.

*i mean, i'll confess to always being in the mood for a big fruity cocktail but you know what I mean.

Funnily enough I do enjoy a pink gin occasionally.
