It was going to be the remains of last night's lamb mince curry, but I polished that off this morning for elevenses.

Now having bacon, egg, 'matoes and 'shrooms.

Veggie sausages with quinoa and feta tonight I think.

I'm assuming the OP is Northern, so:

Just picked my way through a warmed up plate of Chilli & Rice with a garlic tear/share bread on the side as I'll be missing my tea as out night-riding.

Oven-baked salmon with chilli & soy sprinkled with sesame seeds, served with boiled rice (or maybe noodles, not sure yet).

Thank you BBC Food for inspiring me with something new to do with the salmon fillets sat in the fridge.

Steak pie, roasties and savoy cabbage, followed by NY cheesecake. Wouldn't have that norm on a weekday, but got an old mate coming round.

Supposed to be veg only during the week and tonight is normally pizza night or soya mince chili/spag bol as the OH works away on weds but tonight it's sirloin steak, chips, corn on the cob and peas. Tempted to throw in a fired egg too for good measure.

Rather dull jacket potatoes. Cheese and beans for the kids. Tuna, coleslaw and salsa mashed together for the grown ups.

Home made chocolate muffins for pudding, as we'd all been good.

Weds night is home from London night. Given Mrs North followed me into the village and Grandma was in the house bathing Miss North, my best guess is whatever I can rustle from the fridge/cupboard.

Humbug.

Yesterday I bunged an oxtail in the slow cooker with carrots parsnips onion garlic and red wine. This morning I skimmed off the fat, reduced the juice and slow cooked it all day again.

Mash and cauliflower set it off fine, along with a cheap Co-op chateauneuf du pape.
