My little brother had James Brown's I Feel Good.
Something Changed by Pulp.
Followed by Baby I Love You by The Ramones, which filled the floor.
Let's Get Married by The Proclaimers followed by the dance version of Quando Quando. We also mulled over having Tony Christie's Reno as a follow up but didn't think folks would see the funny side.
Snow patrol chasing cars then boom, straight into queen don't stop me now !
How Sweet It Is, James Taylor version.
We learnt an Argentinian Tango (4 steps essentially, repeated)Suprised everyone and we had to practice quite a bit to get it looking good.
Then had a ceilidh. Had to audition the band as living in Englandshire there are a few ropey ones though.
It's great as gets everyone up and dancing though prob only really works if you have some scottish connection and a reasonable proportion of the guests can do the dances.
we skipped the dance/disco/party evening thing.
much more relaxing just to let everyone chill out & drink at their own pace
although bruk, I like your style ๐
