I'm very disappointed no one has admitted to using the free wallet out of MBUK.

binners I hope you don't lower yourself down to my level by actually carrying your wallet - you get your man servant to do it for you right?

And no more dole cheques for you I'm guessing 😉

I was given a leather one from Debenhams a couple of years ago. Still going strong, and looks like new.

A tri-fold Quicksilver one, but the velcro's going.

Considering a Jimi, as I never carry anything except a couple of notes and a debit card. I like having change in the wallet though, as I hate having loose coins in my pocket.

A Ducti duct tape wallet, because it made me smile when I saw it.

Timberland

Unfortunately its sized for US notes so anything taller than a fiver gets munched in my pocket.

Ducti duct tape wallet. spine wore pretty quick, but used the spare bit of duct tape that came with it to reinforce the spine, and still good. love the luminous strips as well

I was given one of these for my 40th a few years back, a proper UK sized note one, and I love it. Use it everyday, and it's shown little sign of wear so far.

Not sure I'd spend that on another though

Used to use an Oakley Carbon wallet, until the zip on the change pocket broke. Got fed up carrying loads of crap around so got a Jimi Wallet. Brilliant, just have the essentials now, anything else goes in the old Oakley in my courier bag. Change goes in an old drawstring sunglasses bag so I know where it all is. Worn one Jimi out and a cloth bag as well over the last four years.

Got an leather Animal wallet that was a £25 impulse buy after the bike shop didn't have whatever I went in for. Must be about 12-15 years old now, and has been properly abused with 3 months worth of receipts being crammed in before its quarterly clearout, lots of coins and the odd resident pop rivet/bolt/inner wire crimp end keeping the coins company 🙂

Was looking to replace it for something slimmer until I realised how long I'd had it...thought I should stick with it.

Animal FullFat Wallet which I bought 14 years ago. It still looks as good as the day I bought it and is tough as old boots. A good size too. It's an old friend now..... Think I paid £20 for it? Money well spent.

Anybody that keeps coins in their wallet doesn't have a wallet, they have a purse.

That's 110% of fact.

I had a freebie Fosters one I got given years ago, lasted 15 years then I spotted a MK I Golf Gti one in John Lewis for £3 last year. That's taking no damage either.

[img] [/img]

Although having seen pics of the Paul Smith Nake lady one's I'm tempted, think I know where some of my overtime from this month may go.

Anybody that keeps coins in their wallet doesn't have a wallet, they have a purse.

This is the truth. And I'll add anything under £10 goes in the pocket the rest is for the wallet.

Change in pockets till you get home, then in the special bike savings jar. When you're in a shop waiting for change and the salesperson says "sorry, we haven't got any notes", my heart soars, and I can replace an inner tube!

10 year old Cerutti leather billfold.

I was bought a Calvin Klein billfold by my parents but (1) the Cerutti is just fine and (2) the new one is embossed with "CK" all over it, which is rather naff.

Er, you lot do know the difference between a wallet, billfold and purse, right?

Wallet = notes go in unfolded
Billfold (comes in bi- and tri- flavours) = notes folded
Purse = what old ladies rummage through for 50 pence pieces to give to their snotty grandchildren

My wallet lives in my bag* through the week, as it travels to and from work with me on my bike, so it needs a space for my coins.

*A manly rucsac, not a handbag. Although I do like the look of the Rapha Bonk bag.

I may regret posting mine but I have a Paul Smith something or other.

I literally went into the shop, picked one I like and bought it (for £120 🙁 )

[img] [/img]

I do like the wallet shame it cant hold much cash, (I bought a new bike with cash over the weekend and managed to just get a free tube) 🙂

I've got a Jimi for when I'm out on my bike but for everyday use I have an All-Ett Wallet - billed (pardon the pun) as the world's thinnest inside ID wallet.

Next time you're travelling on a short journey by train, use the self service ticket machine, and use the biggest note you have. They don't give out notes, I ended up carrying around £18 worth of £1 coins once.

Some leather Billabong thing. Rarely use it though - usually just carry cards, notes and change in my pockets.

Bought a jimi for commuting, found I use it all the time now. Pay for virtually everything with debit card now anyway, so coins are'nt much of an issue.

Coins notes and cards all in the back pocket, I sometimes wrap the notes around the cards to keep things tidy.
Most of my cards are bent or cracked from sitting on them 🙁

Cheap M and S thing for everyday, and a Paul Smith one for when I don't need a months worth of expenses receipts in it.
Have just followed one of those links above to the PS site. Flipping Eck they're expensive, no wonder my missus was so annoyed when she thought I'd lost the one she gave me! Another case of wallet worth more than contents!

Any change goes into one of those little plastic money bags that you can get from the bank.

Quicksilver leather wallet. Must be well over 5 years old now. It had a coi zip which failed early in it's life but I soon moved to coins in pocket anyway. Otherwise I was just thiking yesterday how well it's been holding up. Structurally sound and looks really nice as the originally buffed leather outer is now polished up from years of pocket wear and handling.
