Axle deep mud

The gaffer of the company I'm working for got stuck, then I got stuck, then the telehandler that came to pull me out got stuck too.

We all knew that soft bit was there - it had the gravitational pull of a Black Hole ffs

I'd have suggested tractor tyres, but presumably that's what the telehandler had? In which case caterpillar tracks!

Caterpillar tracks it was - the next day, when the 13 tonne excavator came to drag me and the telehandler out

And tomorrow they're sending a crane to lift out the excavator

Not a lot of room to manoeuvre in there, either! Bugger of a place to get stuck. ๐Ÿ˜€

OT- They've got a new one now- I heard the old one ended up in south america somewhere, working, it got sold when the garage changed owners. Think it's class that they've done a tribute!

cant beat a good sinkhole.

Once was topping a rape stubble field. Flying through the field at 20mph, thought Id just trim the thistle patch in the middle of the field. I wonder why there's a thistle patch in the middle of the field?

Cue, me and tractor dropping straight down 3 ft, but going fast enough to hit the other side of the sink hole and fly back up out again. I bang my head on the cab of the tractor, nearly lose conciousness.

On close inspection of the tractor there's a 3ft high sloppy high tide mark along the length of it.

Ah, yes, Stoner. We "forgot" to tell you about the sink hole didnt we...
