For the past couple of years I've been using really, really cheap squash shoes for playing Ultimate. This has been doing my heels and ankles no favours at all. So I want some decent trainers. The game consists of a large amount of sprinting and changing direction very quickly (so grip is pretty important). As there are quite a few people who seem to be into running on here I thought I'd see if anyone could suggest anything that they think would be good?

As both a squash player, and an ex-ultimate player, I'd say have a look at shoes designed for handball. I always found squash shoes too light, with not enough ankle support for my shot joints. I used Asics Gel Domain for years and found them both very hardy and comfortable. Did have to get them form Germany though ๐Ÿ˜•

These links should help find something near you, though a few of the teams have separated.
