For the past couple of years I've been using really, really cheap squash shoes for playing Ultimate. This has been doing my heels and ankles no favours at all. So I want some decent trainers. The game consists of a large amount of sprinting and changing direction very quickly (so grip is pretty important). As there are quite a few people who seem to be into running on here I thought I'd see if anyone could suggest anything that they think would be good?
badminton shoes i guess, http://www.prosportuk.com/equipment/badminton/yonex_badminton_shoes.ht
As both a squash player, and an ex-ultimate player, I'd say have a look at shoes designed for handball. I always found squash shoes too light, with not enough ankle support for my shot joints. I used Asics Gel Domain for years and found them both very hardy and comfortable. Did have to get them form Germany though ๐
Cheers guys, will look into those suggestions ๐

These links should help find something near you, though a few of the teams have separated.

Oh man haven't played Ultimate in years... Oh I wonder if there's any clubs around Cardiff??
I know there used to be a team in Bristol, the Samurai's I believe. Don't know if they're still going or not.
