[#10222204]

My boss did us a pretty big favour at the weekend (lent us the work van to help us move house from the Midlands to Edinburgh when the Luton van we'd hired was 800kg overweight). Normally I'd buy someone a bottle of wine but he's had a heart attack in the last month and had a stent fitted.

I'm struggling to come up with ideas for what to give him. I know he's into football - he supports a team in Nottingham, but I think there are two and I don't know which one. He's also into golf and really into tennis.

Any ideas?

Voucher for his local Cardiac Rehab class down the gym or a heart rate monitor. Gifts for the post MI active type.

Given that Notts County are rooted to the bottom of League 2 and Forest are mid-table in the Championship I’d suggest you could find out easily which one he supports by his willingness to discuss football

Though if he’s had a stent fitted - maybe he’s a County fan

Id say just go with the wine though  - if it’s a good bottle it can keep til he’s well enough to drink it

Get your boss a voucher for a restaurant, he may be a bit crook, but he's still gotta eat.

Caffeine free Diet Coke

It's just Coke with all the joy sucked out of it.

If he's into golf, new balls?

Find out if there are any jobs that need doing around his house that he's not been physically able to do since he had his op.
