Well, there was a bit of N**M kit in there, after all...
I thought you were referring to NAIM
lol...I dont know what N**M kit is!
Well, the baffling has worked up to a point but it's now obvious that the room needs much more treating than just some behind-the-speakers damping.
I'm going to extend it not just forward of the existing tiles as suggested, but also up towards the ceiling and along the facing wall above the TV.
Eek.
And treat behind you as well - reinforcements from behind are similar to reinforcements behind the speakers - try standing near the rear wall and walking back and forth.
Wharfedale Modus 4's with a recently acquired Roksan Kandy mk3. currently re listening to my entire music collection.
I had some Modus 6's.... Lovely speakers! Novel directional tweater.
Nothing high end, but good enough for me.
Mission 751 freedoms in the main system,
Eltax monitor 3 in the bedroom,
Gale mini monitors in the kitchen
And some Mordaunt Short MS50i that aren't connected to anything as they're a bit too big for the room.
Mission 752 freedoms hooked up to some old Rotel pre and power amps with a dragonfly DAC.
Cheap but good enough for me!
Got these the other week
Amphion Argon 1's. Lovely

Monitor audio in wall front, rear and ceiling speakers, monitor audio sub, Yamaha amp and Epson projector
I've got some nice Swedish Audio Pro speakers (Image 12/22/44) set up for home theatre as a 5.1 system. All my music comes out sounding like Abba :-).
Actually I've been quite pleased with them; took a bit of fiddling to get a sound I'm happy with but once set up properly they sound good with my Marantz receiver.
