I got a pair of these Plantronics ones for the turbo, reckon they'd fit the bill. Don't run in them though but can't see why they'd not be ok. Has volume control, you can start, stop or skip tracks. Pairs with multiple devices. Loud enough to hear dialogue over the turbo and a big fan.

Yeah they ^^^^ do look quite nice.

I bought these http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00B3QAFBY/ref=pe_385721_37986871_TE_item as they were the cheapest ones I could find with decent reviews. They do feel cheap and plasticy but they seem to stay on fine. They also sound noticeable worse than standard iPhone headphones although that doesn't bother me since I only use them at the gym!

The Plantronics Backbeat Fit worked for me on a 10 mile running race earlier this year. I don't find any in-ear ones work for me, but these are really stable.

Good sound quality, plus vol & track changes as well - and an armband holder for your phone. Not found anything that comes close.
