Girls don't count. See the damage to the front of the third car in the line? She did that. The cow.

Been waiting a long time to get going restoring this;

[IMG] [/IMG]

It (and the 220 in the foreground) aren't mine, but I get to play with them, which is surely at least as good?

Didn't happen. The other big kid who was meant to be coming had to stay in and prep his bikes. Apparently he is racing at the 24 Hour World Championships in a couple of weeks.

I like a bit of Scalextric with my lad.

Telling yourself it's for both of you won't work...you just like Scalextric.

He seems more interested in Buzz Lightyear.

Back to the question...my disparing wife beleives I have too many hobbies (she's probably right).

- cameras and various lenses
- snowboards (note the 's')
- fishing equipment

I also want to buy a canoe and possibly a boat (although I don't live near the sea).

I am trying to restrict my fads, as I have rather a Mr Toad tendency. Currently trying to avoid buying any more fountain pens:

Mine is sort of wedged between a kicker and the beam, I have seen/used all sorts of methods though. How big is the space? How solid are the walls? Happy to advise if you need suggestions.

Other than my mountain bikes, 4 Tamiya RC cars, and a dirt bike in bits in my parents garage, which I'll be rebuilding if I get the job that I've applied for which'll see me moving back in with them 10 years after I moved out!

...as I have rather a Mr Toad tendency.

Haha...I have one of them I think....I decide it's something I want and then I end up drooling over it in the shop every lunch time until I buy it (usually the most expensive one).

I'm trying not to think about canoes now as I know a shop near waterloo that sells them.

DIY and plumbing/renewables. Bit sad I know.

When I have the time I fancy learning to play folk/jazz on the wife's oboe. That is NOT a euphenism BTW.

Couch straps?

Yeah, they're comfy and very well made, and I think they look good ๐Ÿ™‚ Considering getting one of their wallets as well but I think that may take the whole "matching accessories" thing a bit too far ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Yeah I have one too, they are really nicely made - red and black which matches the custom scratch plate on my P Bass. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Maybe I'll have to get a pic.

I used to do what Trail Rat does; 4x4 off-road trials and racing (comp safaries) back in the 80s & 90s. Claim to fame is I delivered a rolling chassis to a blacksmith in Matlock; the blacksmith was Drew Bowler and it became the 2nd Bowler Special he built [this of course will only be of interest to those that know what the hell I'm going on about... ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† )

My off-road stuff is all on MTB these days; current other interest is converting a van into a modular day/camper bus.

I have a small collection of Peter & Jane books.
No seriously, I do. Started collecting them a few years ago. Not really a toy though I suppose.

I have some roller blades in the attic...

Interesting! We've got a Tomcat arriving over the weekend, I'm looking forward to having a proper pre-exam de-stress!

Doesn't get so much use these days, but got this, another recurve, a longbow and a Mongolian horse bow.

Different laptop now, but lots of other noisemaking toys still around.

Plus lots of other knives and cooking toys.

In response to the pen photo earlier in thread. These are my fountain pens, have at least equal collections of ballpoints and pencils - I have a real stationery problem.
