Power kites. Oh, and one of those poppies from the Tower of London.
That also sounds like a perfect Christmas gift.
Perchypanther- is that a photo of your home?!
Nah. That's the shed.*
I don't have a wide angle lens to get all of the house in the same photo.

*Not really - The first pic is Godrevy lighthouse as seen from Carbis Bay. We spend two weeks every year in a house there.
The second is Hoddom Castle. It's where our caravan is.
Seeing the environment around me will do right now. Just done 4 days in the Afan valley. Couldn't see much at all except for a bit yesterday as we were leaving, but that looked a bit too breezy (Doris) for riding with kids. Trails were good mind, but we had no idea if the views were decent or not.
Today I'm happy because I hauled my backside out of bed, and rode to work in the sunshine. What a great way to start the day.
I am content, my family do this for me. It's a great feeling.
For me happy is just a drizzle of olive oil dressing on top of the salad of contentment, not necessary, but nice to have. A few things can add happiness.
A rare good nights sleep is top of this list.
Tracking down a bargain on the internet (I find this sad as well, but hey ho)
The *craic when riding, (I enjoy the ride but its the craic that makes me happy)
* coming from the North East of England I should probably spell it crack, a word very common in the area when I was a lad.
I thought better reply since I started the post, on what's makes me happy. Well after reading interesting comments and other peoples thoughts ill add mine.
What makes me happy is the amazing good experiences from being places and spending time with loved ones and not the materialistic things as such, its the experiences, like when we were siting on top of a hill overlooking Llandudno and the fog rolled in and we were above that. Seeing our hound run and play being so happy, when he's on walks in woods. Breathing the air in fresh spring in early morning , especially when camping and getting up early. going on nice walks like to the lakes. Being on the mountain side taking in the nice views. Being on walks in forests and woods. I love the feeling after a very good bike ride or during good session around a good trail.
So much more, so all in all its about the feelings of good experiences what makes us happy. The good feeling ya get.
So get out and ride......
Blades winning, pigs losing - happy days! ๐
Mountains ,
skiing ridding , walking . Even driving through valleys just looking at them makes me happy.
Riding my bike, carving on empty pistes or playing in powder, playing with my dog, getting away from the general public & crowds and stuff that stresses me out, being in the middle of a wood surrounded by bird song, doing stuff for friends and family which makes them happy.
But most of all, listening to my 5 month old son giggle whilst being tickled.
The kids achieving things.
Listening to good music.
My nephew enjoying my baking.
Skiing with hubby.
Mtbiking with my friends, especially Helen and Kat.
Country walks.
Bird spotting and watching wildlife.
Cuddles from hubby.
Even driving through valleys just looking at them makes me happy.
This does it for me too.
I drive around the UK a fair bit with work and there's nothing that makes me forget about work like looking at the hills, mountains, valleys, forests and woodlands just imagining how many wonderful trails and magical moments are are out there.
Seeing wild deer in the woods when riding. Especially when you can stop and you and the deer stare at each for seconds with no one daring to move, it's so quiet it seems like minutes. That is a treat to witness.
