Termiator 2, superman 3 or robocop when I was a nipper.

Evil dead 2, pulp fiction and life of brian are all contenders.

For a few dollar more has to top it though.

Shawshank Redemption without a doubt. Then pretty much any gangster film such as Get Carter (original) lock stock, Snatch, Pulp Fiction, True Romance. and the original and undoctored Star Wars trilogy.

Silent Running was way too sad for me when I watched it as an 8 year old but love it.
Ice Cold in Alex has to be my top B&W war film, no idea why but it is excellent.
Lord of the Rings trilogy, loved the books, really enjoy the films.
Blues Brothers, just top entertainment and music, was on permanent rotation with Rocky Horror at mates houses at weekends through my teens.
Oh, and Apocalypse Now, Italian Job first time round and probably some others, oh yea, Star Wars!.......
Might have to go away and think for a bit...

Rocketdog (without random capitalisation) - I can't believe anyone else has even heard of that (IBAVM). My girlfriend tracked down a copy on VHS for one of my birthdays, after I spent years trying to find it having seen it at Uni. It was rubbish when I was sober.

Personal favourite - Ghostbusters. Seen it 100+ times. It was the only video I had as a kid!
