No bike, sadly, and probably limited to public transport. Could possibly take some climbing shoes...

Have intimate relations with posh birds who couldn't quite manage to get into Bristol or St Andrews?

Old Firehouse for some good beer and mahoosive pizzas. I'm assuming it's still open?

Get utterly munted in the Cavern.

At least, that's what I did last time I was there

Second the quay for bike/kayak hire (Saddles & Paddles). The Prospect Inn is one of the better pubs on the quay. Or cycle/ paddle along to the Double Locks pub which is also good.

Depends on when you'll be there as to what's going on. What are you into, apart from climbing and biking?

Plenty of info on Exeter City Council's website here
or try the Tourist Information Office in between the council offices and the Princesshay shopping centre.

Kayaking may be a no go since I can't swim! Trailseeker's walk looks like a pretty good idea, I guess I'm just after anything that's not sitting in a pub watching rugby... Not really my thing! Fresh air on the other hand, is good ๐Ÿ˜€

Took us about 3.5 hours to walk the full circuit without stopping much but we've done it at a gentle pace in 6 hours including a pint @ the New Inn - Alphington, Double locks on the canal, The railwayman in Pinhoe road & the Mill on the Exe, which are all on the route except the Double locks (signposted half mile flat detour)

I'm there with the Mrs so that might be a bit of a faux par. Terribly kind offer though!

A leisurely stroll around the circuit sounds a grand idea ๐Ÿ˜€

There's a swimming pool. I suggest you address that fairly major deficiency by booking a swimming lesson?
