I saw one of these today and had to do a double take, genuinely couldn't believe BMW would put their badge on it.

Maybe not the ugliest car in the world but such a departure for BMW.

What are your contenders?

Anything ostentatious, white Germanica, chromed Japanica, penile Brittanica.
You have to be a right nobhead to still idolise cars, they're so last century.

Needs no explanation as to why I vote for it!

m0rk has nailed it. That Ssangyong on the right is so flippin' ugly, it makes me angry whenever I see it.

Someone needs to pay a visit to Korea and sort those designers out.

I don't think anything has topped that Beemer yet though...

That Beemer is indeed a shocker, we've seen a couple and they fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Fiat 500L MPW - how they could insult the heritage of that fabulous little car I'll never understand

Post-facelift Avensis is hideous. Pre-facelift was pretty inoffensive; Toyota seem to be having a run of making really, really ugly cars at the moment (see also Auris facelift, and the new Prius)

To be fair, the reason that Merc van looks odd is because its a Renault Kangoo with a Merc grill glued on.

I came in here thinking of the BMW in the OP.

Saw one the other day having not realised they existed. I know nothing about them but they're bloody hideous. It also made me do a double take. I saw one in white and it reminded me of the 'Crowmod'

Saying that, there's some proper munters been posted already that I've never seen before either.

Fiat 500L. I can't believe the same people who make the normal 500 thought it would be a good idea to turn out that awful pile of turd and stick the 500 badge on it.

Thanks for the input, I'll take it under advisement. ๐Ÿ™„
The white car in the second photo sharkattack posted really doesn't count as its a funny car drag racer, a very stretched and modified fibreglass body over a tube chassis. It isn't supposed to be pretty, it's only streamlining while going like buggery!

Bah, I only came here to slag off the white mercedes 4x4 softroad ****wagen (with personal plates) that I followed this morning as it weaved about, taking the wrong lane at every opportunity and finally nearly taking the nose off another car at a mini roundabout

Joe ๐Ÿ™„ , of Romsey, you're an arse in a wheeled skip

I think he's just saying that's what the Beemer looks like..

Odd thing aesthetic interpretation - we are all different.

The Citron [s]eggbox[/s] C4 and the Fiat Multipla I too think were a work of urban car design genius. Maybe too left field for some. There are plenty of others there that I don't mind either.

It's the sort of horror show the second Ssangyong is indulging in that I can't abide. The Citroen DS3 does it too. [img] [/img]

Messing with the beltline is a big no no for me.

Oh, yes that Matt, that is an abomination - forgot about that. What the regular mini was really missing was the rear head room being stoved in.
