[Closed] what is the name of this type of computer connector/port/thingy?

I found an old portable hard drive that i thought i lost years ago - it sat in a docking port on top of my previous computer so i never had the appropriate cables etc for it and dont have anything that fits in my spares box either.

It looks like the centre one in this image.

Yep. You need a full-sized USB-A to USB-B cable. That's a pretty standard cable, they were ubiquitous before mini-USB and micro-USB took over.

Thanks for the help and offer of a spare cable. Found one in the garage with an old printer i havent got round to throwing out yet...knew there was a reason for keeping it ๐Ÿ˜€
