Yorkshire Blue for something with a bit of fight - smoother and creamier than Stilton. For a more relaxing nibble - Brie.

As an aside did you know there are more types of cheese of UK origin than any other country in the world.

Yorkshire Blue for something with a bit of fight - smoother and creamier than Stilton.

For that, I prefer Garstang Blue, which has the added benefit of being from Lancashire.

There's a dairy near us that does a smoked brie which is really very good. I can eat a substantial amount of it in one sitting, to the point of feeling a little ill.
