Well, perhaps it's not AWESOMELY cool, but after 12 years of living with it's 32" Phillips monster two-ton predecessor, it sure feels like it...

I had one of those once, t'was indeed a monster, trying to move the bloody thing was a nightmare. Enjoy the new set! 😀

Oakley surf backpack, though I haven't a clue what the plastic surf comb thing is for. Already got a decent Karrimor Hot 30 but it was just a bit to small for what I need it for.

I just bought a Raspberry Pi, not sure if that is cool, or just geeky 😕

After spending ages test riding loads of different bikes, I finally bought one of these.......

Bit of a marmite bike, but I love it.

One of the speakers below, plus another one that looks almost the same 🙂

Plus a NAP300 to drive them 🙂

Shame I have a bathroom in the lounge at the moment so it can't come home yet 🙁

No, I've bought the adventure model which is still using the tried and tested air-cooled engine. It looks great though in the 90th anniversary colours.

After spending years in the motor trade, I know never to buy the first of a brand new model.

The plan is to run this GS for a few years and then change to the water cooled version once they've got it sorted.

Loving Bob's coffee machine and vinnyeh's album choice.

After spending most of last year riding my HT on-road rather than off, I figured it was time to buy the right tool for the job. Collected one of these a couple of weeks ago...only 4 monts old, lightly used and just serviced. Love it so far...gearing was a bit of a shock on my regular (modest) climbs but I'm sure it'll do me good in the long run 😀

Very nice. I used to have an early one - quite miss it, was a great bike:

That's a lovely bike 8)

After 16 years of sports bike, it's definitely a bit of a change for me. I rode loads of bikes and after only a few miles; I was completely sold on the GS.

Schwalbe Ice Spiker tyres. Only used in anger once, but the feeling of sprinting uphill on sheet ice is amazing!

Although a nice bit of kit, I beg to differ. Ben Cooper's jig wins by a country mile...

Edit : But the pic of the furry alien werefly comes in a close second.

Whilst i can fully appreciate the precision and absolute single minded beauty of Ben's stem jig i still have to hold my hand up to Bob's espresso machine, I doubt i could build frames/stems but i can brew espresso with my Gaggia Baby class to a decent standard that would satisfy 99% of espresso junkies however that isomac would take my 2 double espresso's a day addiction to a level that would enable me to squeeze that extra 1% out of my beans.

😀

And having visited Bens workshop to get a TI frame prepped i feel i ought to fess-up and tell you/warn you it is a veritable cornucopia of biking exotica and frame building curiosity, you should see his box of braze on cable cable guides, or the S & S Couplings...if that doesn't get you salivating then nothing will 😯

2 tickets for ashes test match at Durham this August for my dad and me.

Arguably I might not have bought them but sitting at home with internet and unspent wages and a broken ankle, I was driven to it by the voices in my head.

Almost the second I click 'buy tickets' I felt pain and guilt for some odd reason (£80 each was probably the reason) so I went online to check out prices for the current New Zealand v England series and felt even worse, you can watch all 5 days of any test match over the next couple of months for as little as $112. Thats about £60 for all 5 days!
