I unbroke one script.*

* well, I unbroke another, but then seem to have broken it in an entirely new way, so I'm claiming a sum total of one proper unbreakage

Fixed a load of bikes, including one for and attractive young student lady, who said, I can only presume in some sort of gratitude, that I was "a babe".

She also assured me that my movember 'tache didn't make me look like a paedophile.

Downed 9/10 of a pint of 7% stout as it wasn't very nice, well it was ok for 1/10th, but it should've been served with a spoon, didn't want to pour it away

I removed 12 broken coathangers from my wardrobe.

AND

I sorted the brakes on the commuter I bought off Pop Larkin of this parish so they are less suicidal 🙂

Oh I remembered to put the bins out too.

Early night for me, I'm shattered

Got through the first day in my awesome new job without messing up or pissing anyone off. And set up my avid keyboard layout so I can edit ninja-fast. Plus I got free biscuits. They were only rich tea though.

I helped prove the provenience of pottery clay used in Iron Age pottery by matching microfossils from the disaggregated pots and some local till member.

Pretty productive.

Is that parish called Benson? And does Pop have a Cotic tattoo?

I have just finished my 3 day first aid course. I passed but then failure wasn't really made possible!

Looking at it positively, I hope that if anyone needs CPR when i'm out riding with them - then i will now be better equipped to deal with it!

Submitted job application on final day; might not sound an achievement, but it bloody has been.

*prepares to get sifted out*

EDIT: ..and parked any selfish profiteering for a moment to sell a pair of mint Mavic SLRs with new RR evos for £250 to a neighbour, 'cos he's a nice fella.

Seeing as "today" in the title was yesterday, I helped build a bridge over a ditch on a nature reserve in Yorkshire.

But today "today" I did Christmas shopping with the missis (points in the bag)

Did approx 35 miles on the Chase today which is not too shabby considering its only 26 sq miles. Did all the official trails - some bits twice - and some off piste all linked together in a super flowy kind of way it all just fell into place. Great conditions for the time of year just really happy to be out there enjoying it.

Fuel pump on the missus' car. It stopped on her on the way back from walking the dog. 100 quid for the pump 🙁 about an hour or so to fit it.

Just back from a meal with a couple of people whose family regularly appears on those 'Big Fat Gypsy Wedding' programmes.

I also made a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cake.
It was delicious.
