Read The Engine Oil Bible, it will explain that you don't need to waste your money on expensive branded oils, you just need to change the oil regularly.
Always used Halfords own stuff with no issues
Should say in the handbook what's required.
Back when I had a Vectra, the only place I could reliably find the bottled unicorn tears it required was from a Vauxhall dealership. No doubt I could've run it on chip fat or something instead, but there was the small matter of the warranty to consider.
I have the handbook, but a few of the pages have got wet over the years somehow.
The pages on oil are unreadable, so I thought I would quickly ask on here! 😉
