Binners is now official single and I'm on the market for someone NOT in the veterans category in 'Hit the North' any takers?

๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Giggidy!

I of course would never refer to a woman in terms of a commodity or possession, as I would of course have total respect for her right to be her own person and belonging to no-one.

Yes, I know, I know. I'm just open-minded and forward thinking like that. As well as being extremely intelligent, charming, sophisticated, considerate, sensitive and compassionate. Not to mention being well-buff and a great dancer. ๐Ÿ˜

From an orderly queue, ladies.... 8)

This is one of Life's Great Mysteries, Brakes. An unfathomable conundrum....

๐Ÿ˜

I also think it's cos ladies generally just don't believe they are worthy of such perfection, and unwittingly I price myself out of the market somewhat... ๐Ÿ™

Anything, absolutely anything is better than 'significant other', even 'my best friend and muse'

What do you call your 'wife' if you aren't married?

by her name?

I found "Can I have a cup of tea please, wife?" didn't go down too well
You're doing it wrong.

Myself and a couple of lads who I work with used to refer to our other halves as 'Our Meg'.
At the time we had a particularly stupid apprentice who after working with us for a month said 'Isn't it weird that you three work together and all your wives have the same name'.

I generally use 'The Boss' or 'Better Half'. Having been together 11 years here now it probably should be wife but we don't want to rush anything. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Al of the above.

Both our sets of parents describe the other as "partner", though it does sound like they're about to choke as they say it..!

I increasingly use wife, even if she isn't. And the only reasons we can think to do it is for financial reasons or for our daughter (who I suspect CGAS).

Wench?
I prefer 'bint' but often wench will do.

Seeing as how 'bint' is the Arabic word for 'daughter', there could be raised eyebrows in some quarters at that.

If she's lazy you could call her Lard Arse, or you could just say Hoi when calling her. If your introducing her to others then Meet the Shag should suffice.

If you quite like her then terms of endearment like Love, Petal and Darling are normally met with little disdain. I am still experimenting with words to describe my relationship and how we should refer to one & other. I think this would be a good opportunity to make a list.
