use equifax or experian

those are the ones that matter - as they are the ones the banks etc use to check up on you

if your looking at bike finance through most dealers they use callcredit. And callcredits site is useless and the scores they give make no sense.

Anything other than that and use Experian or Equifax. I use both and im glad i do, my rating was ruined after a default was put on without my knowledge and thanks to these two sites i have sorted it all out.

are the free experian and equifax reports the same as if i pay for one? and are they easy to cancel within 30 days?

All you need to do is spend £2 and you get your full report.

The others are just money making subscriber things for them!

I work in the lending industry (sorry everyone), and Experian is the agency that everyone banks on. Equifax are also good, but the info you'll get will be less comprehensive.

Call Credit are newer to the marketplace, and so have better systems etc but they are used by fewer lenders again, so the data will be less complete...
