I'm WFH tomorrow and am really looking forward to a breakfast of poached eggs on toast.

That possibly makes me the saddest person ever.

I'm waiting to find out if the thing I've bid for on ebay will be both a fantastic bargain and infuriatingly far away.

I'm just looking forward to seeing Lush and Belly later this year, it's been twenty years since I last saw either band.

Long weekend in Winterberg in June with the boys.

And for this SMSTS course to finish on Friday, it's dragging a bit.

First XC race this weekend!

(Not sure if I'm excited or nervous to be honest!)

Going to see Underworld march 26 - quite excited about that.
That and the family finally having a week free of the mystery virus lurgy thing that has laid us all low for far too long.

First xc race of the season proper this weekend, cannot wait. Nervous as I've trained a bit so don't want to come last, but dont recognise any of the names in my cat. from last year so no idea about competitors.

Holiday in a few weeks and will hopefully get a ride in at QECP for the first time since I was a teenager.

Doing a bit of trail digging somewhere local to make a really good xc loop

The new Canyon I ordered last year. Latest email suggests it's coming soon. I'd almost forgotten I'd ordered it! Good job I hadn't gone and bought that lovely baby blue Orbea I've been admiring on the website. That would have been embarrassing....

Tool of a boss' notice period ending, thus leaving: end of the month.
New bike day: 10th May, possibly (hopefully) sooner.
Annual pilgrimage to Whistler: 13th August.

I've been eating really healthily with loads of fibre, so I am waiting for a mahoooosive bottom log with some trepidation as yummy health food usually results in bottom action that feels like pooing a fistful gorillas fingers, followed by the million wipe hot tar poo phenomena finish. (its truly a gift that only Idave diets can bestow)

In 32 months the Mortgage and everything else will be paid off.

I plan to celebrate with a new Mustang, in yellow.

I'd say summer but summer in Darwen just means warmer rain. But I live in hope of some dry dusty trails.
Back to Lindos in September went in October last year and it was warm 28-35 Celsius not much less at night but 38+ Celsius is much more pleasant. Keeps the missus happier who found it a bit cold at night!!!!

What can't I wait for? Well, tonight I'm off out for a meal with my sister and brother in law (which will be nice). I guess that's the short-term 'can't wait' bit.

Medium term, I can't wait to get the divorce in progress and finalised, even though I know the next few months are going to be tough in more ways than I can really imagine.

Long term? Who knows.

I'm really looking forward to May-ish, when I'll order a Sonder fatbike - assuming they are a reasonable price.

Then early June, to see a good buddy who is over from Canada and I haven't seen in about four years.

Then mid-June, when the first mini White is due.

Exciting!

The brakes and headset to arrive for my new road bike build so I can ride it this Sunday.
Especially bad as all the bits for my wife's new build arrived yesterday so I got to build it while mine languishes in the corner incomplete...
