As above is it best to give them to charity or can they be recycled anywhere?

If it works give it to some homeless people.

If broke, recycle, where it will get carried off to China so the kids can strip the lead out of the circuit board and breathe in the fumes.

Homeless people have phone lines?

I'd keep it for smacking the **** out of when your wifi line drops, in fact could you post me it for that purpose so I don't burst my own one?

I've got two BT business hubs brand new in there boxes if any one wants them there yours i'm in Newcastle so can drop them off or be collected from Gosforth, I just hate throwing things out and would rather they go to someone who can do something with them.

I keep redundant old electronic stuffs for this exact purpose. I have a short temper and tend to smash stuff up, so stuffs what don't matter offer the satisfaction of smashing, yet none of the negative costs.

The old BT router was particularly satisfying to smash to smithereens....
