[#6733861]

I am going through a Jimmy-nae-pals phase, so I'm considering heading to the hills and camping out somewhere for a couple of nights. Might have a wander through the Lairig Ghru.

We'll be at the Cairngorm drinking, listening to some choons and watching the fireworks. Wave.

...watch hootenanny.

I really, really hope I'm not made to watch it again. Every year. Some years I've even chosen to watch it myself. But Dear God, why?? This year I'm determined to just watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or something. There must be something better.

Staying in.
Wife is working New Years Day, so 5am start. ๐Ÿ˜

Last year we invited family round in the afternoon for a few hours, nothing formal just an invite to drop in if they wanted. That worked well for all as each went off to do their own thing by tea time. Nice chilled way to round up the year.

I quite fancy a sunset bike ride this year, to bid the year farewell.
Chance to put a dent in the bottle of Tennessee Honey & try out my STW hip flask.

Watch fireworks at the Harbour Bridge, hit up a club afterwards and finish off with a boat trip at 3 am or something, lulz.
If I don't manage to kiss a girl I'll probably lock myself up for the rest of my stay in Australia.

Taking some friends to our place on the coast as we can park the cars and walk everywhere which isn't an option at home.
Will involve wine, food and a lot more wine followed by watching nutters going for a swim on New Years day!

i'll be at work til 4pm, then i'll head home, try to eat some tea and no doubt get into bed to hide from the world as i seem to be doing most nights these days since my life went to shit a couple of months ago.
oh, and maybe hoping that this will be the night that i don't wake up in the morning too. and i'm not even joking.

Dude - seriously, don't do that. Find some friends, or family and go and get some company. Was in exactly the same position as you not so long ago and the (very) short term solution is to surround yourself with people. You won't feel like doing it now, but during and after you'll understand why you did it. DO NOT spend it on your own - trust me.

Daughters 2nd birthday on NYE, should be at my Dads if everyone stops being ill. I usually ride over the Somerset levels up to the Mendips and back on NYD morning.

Echoing jimmy, I've been scheming to pop up Clent and watch the explosions over the surroundings with an ale or two. I'm presuming that all the doggers will be having a night off - or will I be pootling through a fancy dress NYE extravaganza? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

It's that, drop into the all-night singalong the Buddhists in Cradley are having, or do some tiling in the bathroom. Or maybe all 3 if I get an early start on the latter. My alternative was a coke-fuelled rampage around Broad St in brum - I'd rather eat my own feet.

Party at a friends house with lots of others. Aim not to get pissed, will likely fail.

NYD is massive bonfire on the beach and lots of people bringing food and spirits down. Hopefully it will be cold and clear.

Flat jam, street party, safari lounge, first foot, hangover. My jaunt into the Pentlands will be either side of that lot. But I will have a hip flask.

Having friends and their kids round. 10 adults, 8 kids under 10. Kids to bed and then it's tiki mug time! And midnight means fireworks.
