Would love to see Leeds United win something like the FA Cup at Wembley, or the final game of winning the Premier League. It could be a long wait (certainly for the latter).

Brazil 2008 and Canada 2011.
.
Best atmosphere I have ever experienced at a sporting event was standing on the start line of the Megavalanche. That was awesome.

Game 7 of the 2001 Stanley Cup finals, when Colorado Avalanche captain Joe Sakic broke tradition & handed the cup to defenseman Ray Bourque to lift after beating New Jersey Devils.

Either that or a game 7 with Toronto & Montreal or Calgary & Edmonton.

My daughter competing at this years world championships (dinghy racing in her class).
She couldnt go last year due to covid as travel restrictions tightened 2 weeks before the event and its her last year in this class. Stands a good chance of getting on the podium.

I would love the be in the velodrome for the Paris Roubaix finish.
Always wanted to be at the boxing day ashes test match.
Any NFL game.

Possibly another thread, but

I did see England regain the ashes at Durham in 2013. Took my dad, that was a day.
I also saw the rugby League world cup final at Old Trafford.
Also saw my home town football club play at Wembley. Gateshead, we lost bit we are on our way back!

Nothing “only” about it. Still a huge sporting event and a brilliant reward (fingers crossed he makes it) for a lot of hard work and dedication. Hope there’s a big crowd allowed in to cheer him on.

What sport is it?

10m diving. He's just won the mixed synchro event at the British Cup and that was their first competition. They just need to get their score from 264 points to 288 to qualify so well within their reach. On Sunday he does the individual event, he needs approx 410 points to qualify, his pb is 370 but he's improving all the time. If he goes I might wear a kilt for the first and only time.

I'd like to see a time travelling Pro Celebrity boxing match between Nigel Benn and Jacob Rees Mogg.

First few rows of a heavyweight championship bout between two equally matched pugelists at Madison Square Gardens.
The Masters.
Boxing Day MCG
Any of the great summits of the TdF and Paris Roubaix velodrome.

Edit _: if there's any golf fans here I can recommend paying for the final practice day of the Open. You get much closer to the players bar the superstars.
