Skyfall and Spectre - similarly unimpressed. I'm listening back to Kermode and Mayo's podcasts from then, and struggle to reconcile their reviews with what I thought of them.
The Hateful Eight. The first half is... fine, bit too much Tarantino talking, but not bad. The second half is just awful.

Highlander 2, very nearly. Awful, awful film. Highlander though, no way. Excellent film.
I'll offer No Country For Old Men. Massively hyped by a work colleague, it was mediocre at best and then when it finally started to get interesting the credits rolled.

X:Men First Class. I like superhero films, I like most of the cast, but it's awful. Hammy acting, terrible script, some absolutely ludicrous scenes (I will now kill the two soldiers who brought my mother into the room where you killed her! But I will leave you alone because you're a Plot Point!) bad visuals, no real attempt at a plot. Absolute pish.

Genuinely surprised to see Alien on the list. It was unlike any film before it. I couldn't sleep after watching it the first time.

Not a great Bond film for sure, but not that bad.
Skyfall and Spectre
Spectre was good. Skyfall was superb! But then I'm a Bond fan, and the grittier the storyline the better the Bond IMO.
I'm going to get grief for this but.

I only managed half an hour of it.
Enjoyed all Craig's Bond films. Sometimes I feel like they were trying to cram too much stuff in, often at the expense of the storyline, but at the end of the day they were good romping yarns. And Craig is an excellent Bond.
