My garage has double timber doors. They look like this:

(top is arched slightly)
They seem pretty secure - good sturdy bolts and bars on the inside, and apart from at the bottom, the timber is in good nick. Problem is, there's about a half-inch gap all the way round, more at the bottom. I plan to fit a wooden framework on the sides and top, with a draught seal, but at the bottom, the water pools up in front of the left door and in heavy rain, floods into the garage and usually out of the side door round the corner. In really heavy rain it seems to fill the garage ๐Ÿ™
Long-term plan (I've only lived there 2 weeks) is to get a gutter drain installed in the driveway, but in the short term, I need some sort of rubber skirt to attach to the bototm of the door, or some sort of temporary boom to lay on the floor and divert water round the corner, rather than under the door.

Any suggestions?

I had similar issues and got one of these;

works a treat.

get the right height for your gap;

I had the same issue a few years back. I knocked up a wettish sand and cement mix, piled it about 25mm high and shut the door on it.
Towelled the inside.
No problem since, but the weather stop looks good.

The mortar dam is the way to go. You could supplement it with rain deflectors attached to the bottoms of the doors and overlapping the dam. This is what I have on our exposed back door and it works pretty well.
