Thinking of buying a weather station thing-would like it to show indoor and outdoor temps and maybe weather forcast too? Don't know much about them- any recommendations/advice welcome-limited cash to spend.

LIDL or ALDI do some for about £20 a few times a year. It works well for me and temp is very accurate - inside & outside temp and trend, pressure and trend and a guess at the weather forecast.

The o/s temp sensor needs to be in total shade otherwise you'll think you're in the bahamas. Mine is branded Auriel I think. Checking it is now part of the morning ritual!

I bought one for my dad for Christmas from Argos - £30 I think. He's using the outdoor sensor inside the greenhouse for the orchids, though, so it is likely to think that a tropical storm is due any day now...
