Just received a letter through the post asking for proof of ID...in order to process a potential claim of funds they have asked for proof of ID ( albeit photocopies).
Is this a scam....has anyone else received similar?
I received some cash back from this scheme automatically, without ever having made any kind of contact, or sending any information. Got a letter through telling me I'd been awarded compensation, then a week or so later a cheque dropped through the door.
Your current experience certainly has the ring of scam to it - if I can find the bumph I got through about it, I'll see if I can find a contact number for you that you might be able to check with.
