So my waterproof jacket (Altura Attack X, React fabric) states that it ought not be tumble dried. My cleaner/proofer (Grangers) suggests a medium tumble dry for garments after washing. Which should I adhere to?

I'd say the garment as those instructions are for that fabric whereas the Grangers is generic for most fabrics.
Best advice would be to ask Altura themselves what products and what way to wash.
