Previous owner one Jason Statham aka The Transporter?

If I bought it I definitely wouldn't repair the boot!

Is it likely the same car as this?

I'm willing to bet it doesn't have a full service history.

Luminol and a black light might reveal some other hidden adventures too

W8s are always cheap as engine parts prices are horrific!

I knew an owner of one who bought another w8 Passat in order to use the engine and break the rest of the car working out cheaper than just repairing his own (he was a big Passat fan).

very much this, nothing says "respectable gentlemans car" like bullet holes in the boot 😀

That looks like 9mm in the boot, so I'm really surprised that the interior is still in good shape. I would have thought that the rear seat would be a bit messed up.

Still, it'll be a great story to tell people in your local...

Challenge for molgrips?
Can you imagine how many separate threads that would generate on here?

This will surely go viral, he could of simply described the bullet holes as mounting holes for a bike rack but o no, he had to go and bs by stating bulet holes.

some damage/bullet holes in the boot lid.

Stone cold without a hint of irony...

I wouldn't touch it with a barge poll though, I owned a Passat with a non-mainstream engine, a V6 diesel and that's not even in the same sport as rare as a W8 and any parts for that that were specific to it cost 3-4 times as much as the ones for any of the 4 pot cars.
