I don't know if anyone has posted about this before, so I thought I'd point out that it's Will Aid month. More details at www.willaid.org.uk

You can obviously do DIY wills, but if you want to create a will via a solicitor, you can do it this month and benefit a charity.

Even more exciting stuff; have you or your parents/ relatives set up power of attorney yet? Again more details here POA

Many other charities also offer a free will writing service (for simple wills) with no obligation to leave a gift to the charity. Just pick your favourite charity and search for charity name + Free Wills and you should get some info.

i've tried to use this a few times as this is something we need to sort. Every time there has been no availability

I'll try again, meanwhile any links for easy to use DIY to research ?

I did mine with the Scottish wildlife Trust, free and used a local solicitor.

Left some money for them and other charities in my will. Tbh you don't have to include the charity but thats a bit of a crap trick.
