Oddly enough just made one for tonight..
Loch Rannoch Venison stew.
Basicall? red wine and chicken stock, venison and bacon. It's fantastic

Pigeon is always good as a surprise. Large bunch of thyme. Add butter, because the venison will have minimal fat.
